Midwives from the Buttercup Team based at Forth Valley Royal Hospital provide all aspects of ante-natal care and immediate post-natal care for our patients.

Community Nurses
Nursing assistance at home can be arranged for patients who are genuinely housebound.
The nurses provide nursing care and can arrange delivery of equipment for patients confined to their homes. They will assess, plan, implement and evaluate your care. They can be contacted on (01259) 290179.
Health Visitors
Our Health Visitors are nurses with further specialist training, which includes child health, health promotion and health education. They focus on promoting health and well-being, and preventing illness and disease and are skilled in providing advice on a wide range of issues. They take a special interest in the under fives and families, supporting those with additional needs. The health visitors have input into health promotion clinics such as breastfeeding.
